Prostitution investigation leads to another arrest
GONZALES - An ongoing investigation into prostitution has led to another arrest by the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office.
28-year-old Gregory Hardin was booked into Ascension Parish Jail and charged with criminal conspiracy in soliciting prostitutes, committing prostitution with persons under 18, and trafficking of children for sex purposes.
A three-month-long investigation led to three arrests in December, including 33-year-old Lakeisha Marshall who was charged with prostituting a 14-year-old girl out of her Donaldsonville home.
19-year-old Trenace Tyler and 46-year-old Wendell Walker were also arrested in the case on December 17. An arrest warrant for Hardin was issued at that time.
