Prostitute under senior's bed
NORRISTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA- A man in his 70's lost his housing subsidy at an assisted-living facility after police found a prostitute hiding under his bed.
The man paid prostitutes using money he earned selling alcohol to fellow residents. He was called a "more mobile gentleman" who went on booze runs for his neighbors.
The county has paid more than $1 million to subsidize assisted living care for 21 elderly people this year.
The incident came to light when county commissioners were authorizing contract extensions to facilities that are housing former residents of a county-owned assisted-living home that has closed.
