Prosecution witnesses help man on trial
ANGLETON, TEXAS- There was boost for a man on trial for murdering a drunk driver who killed the man's two sons.
David Barajas is accused of shooting Jose Banda two yeas ago.
Prosecutors contend it was minutes after Banda plowed into a car Barajas and his sons were pushing on the side of the road.
During testimony at his trial on Wednesday, both a current and former sheriff's deputy said they failed to note in reports more gunfire had taken place well after Banda was shot. That raises doubt about who shot Banda.
