Probe of fatal fire in Richland Parish continues
RAYVILLE - State fire marshal investigators are trying to find out what caused fire that killed a 73-year-old woman in Rayville.
The News-Star reports that the fire was reported Friday. Ossie Bryant's body was found on the floor of the living room of the wood-frame house. The bodies of three family pets also were found inside.
Officials said Bryant used a wheelchair and had limited mobility.
The fire is believed to have started in a bedroom before spreading throughout the home.
