BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies charged a woman with helping her boyfriend and another man get away from their work release job site in East Baton Rouge Parish this week.

Deputies charged 29-year-old Tecarie Joseph and 28-year-old Anthony Walker with simple escape after they were re-captured. Investigators charged 26-year-old Brittany Dennis with principal to simple escape for her involvement.

According to their arrest affidavit, Joseph and Walker were serving time as work release inmates in West Feliciana Parish when they were dropped off at an East Baton Rouge business on Aug. 24. Once they were dropped off deputies said surveillance video the two left in a car registered to Dennis.

Deputies went to her home and said Dennis told them where to find Joseph. She later told detectives he had arranged for her to help him escape so he could have sex with her, and that she didn't know Walker but gave him a ride to an apartment complex on Lobdell.

Deputies said they caught Walker as he was sneaking back into the job site. Detectives said he told them he never left and that he had been sleeping in a pipe, even though deputies said surveillance video showed him getting into Dennis' car.
