Prison time for forced labor
YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO- A woman who lured a mentally disabled mother and her child into captivity and forced labor got nearly four-years in prison.
A federal judge sentenced 22-year-old Dezerah Silsby after she made a plea deal when she was charged with threatening the woman, beating her and making her do housework.
Two others were found guilty at trial and a fourth also pleaded guilty and got a five-year sentence.
Silsby claims she was threatened by the others and feared having her child taken away.
