BATON ROUGE - The 6th Annual Black Rodeo is in Baton Rouge this Saturday.

The Black Rodeo is hosted by K & L Rodeo Production LLC. It was founded by Isaac King and Archer Lee. Their goal is to pass on the culture of the African American cowboy to a new generation.

"We go around the country promoting rodeos to educated kids with a different sport," Lee explained on 2une In Thursday.

King and Lee's daughters both visited the show as well. They will both compete Saturday at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $20.
