As we thank our veterans one family in Prairieville grieves for their loved one.

Marine Kyle Myers' loved ones know his void will never be filled.

The 25-year-old was killed Friday after he was struck on Airline Highway near Pecue Lane while riding his motorcycle.

His family says, he joined the marines right out of high school and was honored to serve two tours in Iraq.

Myers leaves behind a wife Natalie and a 15-month old daughter Sophie.
