BATON ROUGE- Powerhouse Gym owners Ronnie and Connie Olah were evicted from the property on Sherwood Forest Boulevard in court this morning.

An attorney for the gym's landlord told News 2, "they've handed over the keys."

John Kovalcik created signs for the gym in 2011, but was never paid nearly $1,400 for his work.

"It's just a continuation of misinformation, misdirection, you can use harsh words about it, I certainly am prone to do that, but I'll reserve that for others to make the determination of how this thing finally plays out," said Kovalcik.

In an interview with News 2 earlier this month, Ronnie Olah said the gym would be expanding by the end of January.

"We're in it for the long haul, we're in it for the duration," said Olah in the January 3rd interview. "We're gonna open this gym up and see that it's successful, we've got about 14000 square feet that's complete, that we'll be opening up to the public in the next... three weeks."

Now Olah will have a hard time living up to that promise.

Even though the doors are shut, people who paid money to Powerhouse Gym in Baton Rouge are having a hard time getting them to stop taking their money.

People who signed up for memberships, though, said they're continuing to get calls from a collection agency trying to get their membership fees.

The billing company said they cannot stop the charges until they receive a notice from the gym's owner. People can dispute the charges, though, by calling (425) 286-1700.

Ronnie Olah responded to one text message this morning, but made no comment about the eviction.
