Powerball jackpot worth $191 M still not claimed

BATON ROUGE- The winner of the $191 million jackpot has still not claimed their prize.

The winner from the October 25 Louisiana Powerball drawing has 167 days to claim the jackpot. The $191 million ticket was sold at Brownie's in Eunice.

The winning numbers were 18, 22, 29,54,57 and the Powerball was 8. Nationally, a total of 17,429,345 tickets (plays) were sold for the October 25 drawing.

The advertised Powerball jackpot represents an estimate of the annuity prize amount, which is paid in 30 graduated installments that increase by four percent each year.

The first installment is paid at the time the prize is claimed. Winners also have the option to take a one-time lump sum payment equal to the cash value of the jackpot prize pool, which is $119,492,685.81 for the October 25 drawing.

The winner has up to 60 days after claiming the prize to decide on the prize payment option.

The deadline to claim the money is April 23, 2018. According to the Louisiana Lottery, one unclaimed prize have surpassed their redemption periods the money is transferred to the Lottery's unclaimed prize fund.
