BATON ROUGE - Homes and businesses south of LSU's campus are no longer in the dark this morning, after a sudden power outage in the area.

According to Entergy's website, the outage affected areas east and west of Highland Rd. from E. Chimes St. to E. Washington, as well as portions of Nicholson Drive and River Rd. south of I-10.

There's no word on what caused the outage.
