Power restored for 1,700 residents

BATON ROUGE - A crash on Airline Highway at Greenwell Street left 1,700 people without power Friday morning.

A vehicle hit a power line at around 5 a.m. Baton Rouge Police Department said the injuries from this accident are non life-threating.

According to Entergy, power was restored to all residents at around 6:45 a.m. Friday morning. The light is still out, so commuters should treat it as a four-way stop.
