A large portion of the Shenandoah subdivision has lost power due to a blown transformer.

David Latona with DEMCO said that Shenandoah and some homes in the White Oak Landing subdivision are without power. DEMCO trucks are on sight and should have power back on within the hour.

Latona said that there are different faults that can occur with transformers. He said the damage might be attributed to the rain and wind over the weekend.
