BATON ROUGE- There could be trouble on area interstates Saturday and Sunday.

The state is doing work in some areas, and traffic will be heavy for a popular parade Saturday that rolls through Baton Rouge that morning.

Both Saturday and Sunday, DOTD crews are doing what's described as "finishing touches" on the expanded section of I-10 east of the 10/12 Split.

The work could tie-up traffic on I-12, too, the state said.
