Pot Smugglers Improvise
Drug smugglers along the U.S border with Mexico improvised to get the cargo through a new fence. Law enforcement in Arizona noticed bundles of pot were oddly shaped in thin tubular packages. They found 48 pounds wrapped that way and then noticed it was to squeezed the packs between bars of the new fence. It features concrete-filled steel tubes with about a 4-inch space between them. The new fence is about three-miles long and cost almost $12-million near Nogales. At first authorities thought the bundles were smuggled using an underground tunnel until they noticed the packages weren't dirty.
