There's a push to give mortgage relief to homeowners dealing with Chinese drywall.
A resolution in the U.S. Senate would encourage banks and mortgage companies to give homeowners a break on payments so they can move somewhere else while the drywall issue is worked out.
It was proposed by senators David Vitter and Mary Landrieu along with lawmakers from Florida and Virginia.
The drywall was used in thousands of houses in Louisiana.
Homeowners say it causes corrosion and makes them sick.
