Possible meth lab found near affluent BR community
BATON ROUGE- Sheriff's deputies investigated a possible meth lab near Bocage Tuesday night.
A sheriff's office spokesperson said they were alerted by ambulance personnel about a man with burns to his hands and face at an apartment in the 7900 block of Jefferson. He had a small bottle that may have been used to cook meth deputies said.
People use bottles for the "shake-and-bake" method, where the illegal and dangerous drug is created inside a plastic bottle.
A specialized meth lab cleaning crew was called to the scene.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office has not released further details.
