WBRZ - Baton Rouge

Part of City Park is closed in Baton Rouge and drivers are not allowed on portions of East Lakeshore Drive as crews film scenes for the movie, "Battle: Los Angeles."

The City Park golf course is closed today and Thursday and there's no parking available near the gallery or the dog park because production trailers are taking up the space.

The dog park, the gallery and the tennis courts are open during filming, but users will have to find parking elsewhere.

The park facilities will reopen Friday morning at 7:00 a.m.

Two sections of East Lakeshore Drive will be closed from 3:00 p.m. today until 8:00 a.m. Friday.

The filming involves simulated gunfire, pyrotechnics and vapor smoke, so people who live nearby should not be alarmed.
