Popular I-10 beach location flooded Tuesday
PENSACOLA- Severe weather and the torrential downpour associated with it caused significant flooding in this popular beach front city Tuesday night.
WEAR TV reported storm related drownings in submerged vehicles on Hwy. 29. The highway runs north-south and intersects I-10.
Images posted on the station's Facebook show water covering much of vehicles, others were completely submerged.
Numerous roads were also closed in the Mobile-Pensacola area.
