DESTIN, FL - The popular Destin restaurant AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar was damaged by a fire Tuesday night.

Pictures and videos shot by onlookers showed large flames coming from the restaurant's roof. In a post on their Instagram page, owners said it "looked worse than it was with the thatch roof".

In the same post, the restaurant announced plans to reopen the downstairs area following inspections.
