Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival
PONCHATOULA- If you're in the mood for a fun weekend full of free activities, look no further. It's time for the 44th annual Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival.
"We represent Ponchatoula," said the festival's king, Buddy Pugh. "The good folks, hard-working farmers, and non-profits, that's what it's all about."
The Festival will begin Friday at noon and will last until Sunday night at 6 p.m. At noon on Friday they will be selling wristbands that allow access to unlimited rides until 4 p.m.
The event will feature live music, great food, and rides. Non-profits from Ponchatoula will also have food booths set up on the festival grounds.
During the festival you can also visit downtown Ponchatoula where they have a live alligator and great shopping.
The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival will be held in Memorial park in downtown Ponchatoula.
