Poll: You probably don't like living in Louisiana
BATON ROUGE- Chances are, you're not very happy to be a Louisianan.
According to a new Gallup poll, most people in the Bayou State don't think Louisiana is the best place to live. Only about 27% of people surveyed here said this was the best, or one of the best, places to live in the country.
In fact, such a low number of people rated the state as a good place that Louisiana ended up on the Ten Worst Places list when researchers pooled the data they collected. Louisiana ranked fourth- behind Mississippi (3), Illinois (2) and Rhode Island (1). Michigan followed as the 5th worst place.
But, Texas was the opposite. Respondents there gleamed about where they live, making it the 5th best place, according to the poll. People in Montana thought they lived in the best state.
