SLIDELL - Slidell police say three teens were arrested for bringing a gun to a high school basketball game.

18-year-old Steven Warren, 19-year-old Rico Bedford, and 18-year-old Terrence Bedford were all arrested for being in possesion of .38 caliber handgun. They are charged with carrying a firearm on school property.

Authorities say St. Tammany Parish School Board officials alerted the Slidell Police Department after they were made aware of a conversation about a potential altercation.

While at the game, police received a tip that Warren was seen with a gun in his jacket.

Police say they found out that the other two men were in possesion of the gun at times during the night.

According to officials, the men decided to leave the gun in the car after seeing the amount of police presence at the game.
