Police stay busy, book three for murder in one night

BATON ROUGE- Homicide investigators cracked numerous cases and released details of arrests Wednesday.

Three people were booked on murder-related charges.

Isaac Carr is charged in the killing of Michael Williams. Williams was shot after an argument on Mohican-Prescott in 2011. Carr's relative, Delaney, was arrested for principal to murder in connection with the case.

Jeremy Brown faces charges for the death of Shaun Hartley over the weekend. Hartley was a witness to another murder earlier this year and police reports showed he feared for his life.

"We are very thankful to the Baton Rouge Police Department," Hartley's relative told WBRZ News 2.

Mrcarl Coleman, 19, was also taken into custody Wednesday evening. Coleman is accused of shooting Dewayne Foster at a city park.

A police spokesperson praised the department for working tirelessly to make arrests.
