Cops believe an argument started between a group of people, including Tajh Harris, 21, and Javontia Davis, 24. Officials say the argument lead to Harris shooting and killing Davis.
The shooting happened on the 2600 block of Wenonah Street near Seneca Street and Plank Road. Police say they were working traffic control when they heard the gunshots.
Police say Harris is known to spend time in the Tigerland area and drives an older model tan or brown Toyota Camry.
