Police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run
BOURG- State police are searching for the driver of a car that struck and killed a Galliano man who was lying in the roadway on the Bourg-Larose Highway.
Troopers say 29-year-old Jay Curler was pronounced dead early Sunday morning by the Terrebonne Parish Corner's Office.
Witnesses told authorities that Curler was struck by a car that continued traveling south on the two-lane highway.
The only details they gave were that it was a passenger car with square-shaped head and tail lights.
