Police searching for white Malibu after deadly shooting on Holiday Court
BATON ROUGE – Detectives believe the suspect in a deadly shooting on Holiday Court in Baton Rouge last Sunday was riding in a white Chevy Malibu LS.
One person was killed after a shooting on Holiday Court on June 12. 27-year-old Torrence Tate suffered a gunshot wound around 5 p.m. and was transported to local hospital. Deputies say he later died in surgery.
The shooting happened near the BREC Rio Drive Park.
Investigators believe Tate was in his vehicle when he was shot by someone traveling in a white Chevy Malibu LS. Original reports said the shooter was possibly traveling in a white Chevy Impala.
Investigators released photos of the suspect’s vehicle Saturday afternoon. A spokesperson for EBRSO said the car does not have any disinguishing features and investigators have not released a license plate number.
