BATON ROUGE - Police in Baton Rouge said they're still searching for a masked gunman who held up a payday loan business today.
Cpl. Thomas Stubbs with BRPD said they were called to American Cash Advance Payday Loans at 7171 Airline Highway around 12:30 p.m. He said they were told a man came into the business with a gun, demanded money, and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
Stubbs said the robber was described as a white male, just under six feet tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds and wearing a red and blue jacket as well as blue jeans. He also had a black cloth covering his face when he robbed the business.
Anyone with information should call the BRPD Armed Robbery Division at (225) 389-3845.
