Police say dad had his 2-year-old help him steal from store
GONZALES - A father is accused of having his daughter help him steal items from the city's Walmart.
Police said they arrested Jonathan Brock Ledford, 27, after investigating a shoplifting complaint. Officers said Ledford hid about $58 worth of merchandise on himself and his 2-year-old daughter.
Police reported they also found marijuana with Ledford and warrants by the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office.
Ledford was booked on felony possession of marijuana, felony contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, theft of goods/shoplifting and fugitive charges.
