Police: Robbery at local Chase bank
BATON ROUGE - Officials say a local bank was the victim of a robbery Saturday morning.
According to police, a man entered the Chase Bank at 3428 Drusilla Lane at 10:38am and passed a note to the teller demanding money and stating that he was armed. Police say no weapon was ever observed.
Authorities say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police describe the suspect as a dark skinned African American, age 40-45, between 5'10" and 5'11", and 170-180 lbs.
