BATON ROUGE - Police released the name of the man who died after a shooting last night in Baton Rouge.

Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said Christopher Fountain, 29, died from injuries sustained in the shooting Thursday night.

McKneely said two other people wounded in the shooting, ages 47 and 18, were still in the hospital.

Police earlier said the shooting happened around 9:20 p.m. Thursday and involved two vehicles, which wrecked near the Leo Butler Center.

Investigators asked anyone with information about this incident to call the Homicide Division at (225) 389-4869.
