Police probe latest New Orleans shooting
NEW ORLEANS - Police in New Orleans say they have begun a homicide investigation in connection with a death in the city's Algiers area.
Police said the victim in the Monday morning incident was a 23-year-old man.
Police said they were responding to a call at 6:45 a.m. about a man who had been shot. They found the victim in a grassy area between a canal and an apartment complex.
