Police officers indicted with abuse of office
BATON ROUGE - A grand jury indicted one former and two current Baton Rouge Police officers for abuse of office Wednesday following an investigation by the BRPD.
The indictment accused Isaac Bolden, Travis Wheeler and Emerson Jackson of malfeasance for an incident back in February. District Attorney Hillar Moore said a woman claimed that while in uniform and on duty, the officers coerced her into performing oral sex on Bolden while the other two stood by and watched.
"We expect that they will turn themselves in following the grand jury indictment," Moore told News 2.
Bolden resigned from BRPD earlier this year and the other two officers are on administrative leave, according to a department spokesperson.
