BATON ROUGE - Police have identified two of the three suspects in the shooting of a woman, found dead inside an event rental hall Wednesday.

BRPD says 18-year-old Marquise Bailey and Donnie Tyler were arrested by the BRPD SRT Team for the murder of Youlanda Hunter and attempted murder of a second shooting victim, Ricky McCants.

Hunter sustained multiple gunshot wounds and later died after being transported to the an area hospital. McCants also sustained multiple gunshot wounds, but managed to flee the business and was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.

McCants told detectives at the hospital that he and Hunter were alone in the business when three suspects entered armed with handguns and demanded money. They immediately began to fire at Hunter and McCants. McCants was able to identify one of the suspects as Marquise Bailey, who was an employee. He was also able to identify Bailey's friend, Donnie Tyler.

A photo line-up was prepared for McCants at the hospital where Bailey and Tyler were positively identified as two of the three shooters.

Both suspects will be booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.

While transporting Bailey from the Violent Crimes Unit, police confirmed he began vomiting gasoline. Fire and EMS were on the scene treating the suspect.
