Police: Mother arrested after setting up fight for her daughter
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge police arrested the mother of a 16-year-old after she allegedly allowed her daughter to get into a fist fight.
Police say Mindy Thomas, 30, heard a group of people outside her house wanting to fight her daughter. She let her daughter out of the house to fight and even stood by to make sure it was a one on one fight.
Officials say the person Thomas's daughter was fighting was also 16-years-old and ended up with a bruise under her left eye.
Thomas was booked on charges of cruelty of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Bond has not been set.
