Police: Monroe man missing in Ouachita River
MONROE- Rescue crews are searching for a missing boater on the Ouachita River in Ouachita Parish.
Sheriff Jay Russell said authorities are searching for 60-year-old Chuck Thrashe of Monroe, who was reported missing shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says Thrasher's boat was found in the river.
Wildlife agents have two sonar units on scene Friday to assist in the search.
