Police: Man used girl sex chat IDs
SULPHUR, La. (AP) - State police say a 34-year-old Sulphur man allegedly posed as a teenage girl for online sex chat with teenage boys - and got sexually explicit photos or videos of some of them.
Sgt. James Anderson says Jamy Church is being held on $335,000 bond in the Calcasieu Parish Jail, where he was booked Friday with 33 counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor. Eight days earlier, Church was booked with juvenile pornography.
Anderson says the boys located so far all live in southwest Louisiana, and more victims are possible in Texas and other parts of Louisiana.
Anderson says Church used at least 47 e-mail identities, which are posted at www.LSP.org under a link labeled "Sulphur Child Predator Investigation."
Most are variations on the names calliwally, hopes4193, sarac, michaels_jenna, and Bartlett_brooke. They also include champmangirl.
Police ask parents to call immediately if they recognize any of the addresses or have reason to think their child was a victim.
Anderson doesn't know if Church has an attorney.
