Police: Man jumped out of car, struck by hit-and-run driver
SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport police say a passenger jumped out of a moving car during an argument and was killed by a hit-and-run driver.
Cpl. Breck Scott says the accident occurred about 1:20 a.m. Sunday on Highway 3132 East near Jewella Avenue.
The man's name is being withheld until police can notify his family.
Scott says police are trying to identify the vehicle and driver that hit the man, and have interviewed the driver of the car the man jumped out of.
