BATON ROUGE- Police say a man attacked and raped an acquaintance at an apartment.

Leon Turner, 20, is charged with first-degree rape.

According to the affidavit, Turner invited the victim into the apartment where he was staying, but she refused to go inside. At that point, Turner choked the victim and bit her face. Turner then pulled out a black revolver and hit the victim in the back of the head.

The victim stated that the next thing she remembered was being bent over a bed with her clothes ripped. Once Tuner was done, he put a pair of black sweat pants on her because she couldn't move. Turner then allegedly told the victim if she told anyone about what happened he would kill her.

When authorities searched the apartment, they found a black revolver partially hidden in a couch. Turner was also arrested with three bullets in his pocket.
