Police looking for Family Dollar robber

BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the individual seen on surveillance cameras robbing a Family Dollar Store.

The store at 6832 Florida Blvd was robbed on July 13 around 6:50pm.

Police say the suspect walked into the store, demanded money from the employee while armed with a sawed off shotgun.

The suspect then grabbed the cash drawer, and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is identified as a black male, 6'1 - 6'2, 150-160 pounds wearing a black striped button up shirt, black pants and a black New York baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Armed Robbery Division at 389-3845.
