Police identify bank robbery suspect; Possibly linked to other heists
BATON ROUGE - Police identified the suspect they say robbed a bank at closing time Friday.
Alvieyle Moore, 32, held up the Regions Bank on South Sherwood Forest, police said in a news release late Saturday night. Moore was armed with a gun and demanded money, police said. He was able to get away with an "undisclosed amount of money.
Moore could be responsible for other robberies in the city, Baton Rouge police said. Though, they did not elaborate.
It's the third business robbery investigated by BRPD Friday after two hotels were held up near the Acadian Thruway in the early morning hours.
