BATON ROUGE- Investigators are looking into what could be an apparent attack in the Tigerland area near LSU.

Police found a 22-year-old man lying unconscious on the side of Bob Pettit Boulevard near Y.A. Tittle Avenue, just after 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

The man was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.

Police say the man did not have any major traumatic injuries, but did have some minor injuries to his face.

Police tell News 2 they are investigating the incident as a crime.
