Man accused of hit and run turns self in
BATON ROUGE - The driver in an alleged hit and run that occurred on E. Boyd Drive this morning has turned himself in to Baton Rouge police.
Mark Almon, 21, of St. Gabriel, is charged with one count of felony hit and run.
Almon is accused of hitting two pedestrians, a man and a woman, around 2 a.m. and fleeing the scene.
One victim is in critical condition and the other is stable.
The vehicle involved has been located as well.
