Police investigating break-in at Istrouma High School
BATON ROUGE - Police are trying to identify the suspect or suspects that ransacked Istrouma High School Saturday night.
Police say lockers were opened and, they are still investigating more possible damage to the school.
It was Baton Rouge Fire Department that first responded to the high school after alarms went off. As firefighters went classroom to classroom they discovered there was no fire.
Police are still investigating the incident.
Istrouma High students and staff found out this week they would close the doors on the school in May following poor performance scores.
Alumni of the school have a petition out to stop the closing of the school.
