Police investigate Tuesday night shooting
BATON ROUGE- Homicide detectives were called to the scene of a shooting Tuesday night shortly after first responders rushed the unknown victim to an area hospital, a police spokesperson said.
Police and EMS were called to the 2300 block of Pawnee, off Plank near the I-110 overpass, around 9 p.m. in connection with a person reportedly shot.
Sources said the victim sustained life threatening injuries.
The person's name or other information about why the shooting occurred were not released as of this post.
