Police investigate shooting of man shot in the face on Polk Street
BATON ROUGE – The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Thursday around midnight that left a man injured.
According to BRPD, the shooting happened in the 600 block of Polk Street around 12: 30 a.m. on Thursday.
BRPD says that the victim a 37-year-old man and was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
According to sources, the man was shot in the face.
