BATON ROUGE - Police identified the man shot and killed this morning on Madison Avenue in Baton Rouge.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said Kedrick Dennis, 21, was shot and killed around 8:15 a.m. while standing outside his residence at 3006 Madison Ave.

Investigators said a man came up to Dennis, who was standing in his yard, and shot him before fleeing in a white car.
