BATON ROUGE - Investigators say an argument may have led to an early morning shooting at a nightclub.

It happened just before 2 a.m. Friday in the 8400 block of Florida Blvd.

Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the knee while leaving the club.

He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

They later learned he was involved in an argument with an unidentified person shortly before the shooting.

It is not clear whether that person was responsible for the shooting.
