BATON ROUGE - Police identified a man murdered Friday in Baton Rouge.

Rannell Allen, Sr., 35, was found shot in the chest on South Amite Drive. He died at the scene.

The shooting stemmed from an argument between the victim and the suspect, according to Baton Rouge Police Cpl. Tommy Stubbs.

The shooting remains under investigation.
