Police ID man shot in domestic shooting on Cadillac Street
BATON ROUGE - Crime tape marked off a deadly shooting scene of an apartment complex in North Baton Rouge Saturday.
Baton Rouge Police say 35-year-old Louis Williams died from a gunshot wound to the chest after a domestic fight between him and his girlfriend turned violent Saturday, May 14, around 5:30 p.m.
"At this time we haven't determined whether or not it was self defense," Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said. "We are looking at all aspects of the case, but there were signs of physical abuse."
Police say the investigation is still on going and no arrests have been made as of Monday, May 16.
